Examination procedure

The Food System Specialist (Explore Level) certification assesses your understanding of key concepts within the food system, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle sustainability challenges and contribute to driving transformative change in the sector.

Exam Format and Duration

  • The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions.
  • You will have 90 minutes to complete the test.
  • Examination language: English

The questions will assess your understanding of the following learning objectives:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of food systems, technology, and data management to drive sustainable transformation.
  • Identify and develop innovative, sustainable solutions through entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving techniques.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership to effectively manage projects and achieve strategic goals.
  • Utilize impactful communication strategies to engage stakeholders and support sectoral sustainability.

Exam Window

  • The exam can be taken online anytime between December 4th and December 11th.
  • Participants are free to select a time within this window that best suits their schedule.

Access and Requirements

  • No prior qualifications are required to take the exam
  • The exam will be conducted online and will be online-proctored to ensure fairness and security.

Passing Criteria

  • To pass the exam and receive your certification, you must achieve a score of 66% or higher.
